Call for expressions of interest for the selection of businesses interested in participating in the activities of the HEVON project – High Quality EVO Oil Network of Competitive MSMEs in South Adriatic
The Durrës Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a partner of the HEVON project – High Quality EVO Oil Network of Competitive MSMEs in South Adriatic, announces a call for expressions of interest for Albanian businesses and entities operating in the field of production, transformation, use or promotion of high quality extra virgin olive oil (EVO).
The HEVON project aims to strengthen the competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized businesses in Italy, Albania and Montenegro, through practical activities, training, networking, Living Labs, cross-border exchanges and innovative marketing tools. The call is addressed to businesses in the EVO sector that want to increase their capacities, expand markets and become part of an international cooperation network.
Activities where businesses can participate
Selected businesses will have the opportunity to participate in two main lines of activities:
- Tutoring and mentoring for businesses
• Consulting and support with marketing and internationalization experts.
• Participation in the World Café HEVON in Bari (ENOLIEXPO, March 2026).
• Participation in B2B meetings in Montenegro. - Training day with HEVON experts
• 18 days of free training in Italy, Albania and Montenegro (online and in person).
• Training on EVO quality, traceability, 4.0 technologies, marketing, logistics and financing.
They can apply:
• EVO oil production businesses (own brand producers).
• Restaurants, guesthouses, agritourism that use or promote quality oil.
• Cooperatives, farms, rural tourism structures.
• Entities that contribute to the promotion of high-quality EVO oil.
Priority will be given to those who:
• have quality certifications (BIO, DOP, IGP, professional assessments);
• have international experience;
• use innovative and sustainable practices.
The declaration of advantage criteria is not mandatory, but constitutes a preferential element.

Information meeting
The Durrës Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize an information workshop with interested businesses on December 18, 2025 in Durrës, where the opportunities, benefits and further steps for involvement in the project will be presented.
